Jebel hafeet in Al ain

Just an hour or so from Khalifa City B in Abu dhabi is the tourist destination Jebel hafeet (jebel = mountain in arabic). Rising 1,250 meters, a trip to the top of the mountain can offer a magnificent view of Al ain.

There are two restaurants, restrooms, and lots of parking spaces. Swings and slides and kiddie rides are also available to keep the children entertained.

At the foot of the mountain is another tourist destination called Green Mubazarrah. They have hot springs and swimming pools, a camping area, mini-train, and a toboggan ride. We weren't able to explore much of this area but we will probably go back some time during November when the weather is cooler.
